Bagwell Tutors was founded by a husband-and-wife team who know what it takes to help students succeed — because we do it every day in the classroom.

Hi! We’re Stephanie and Alexander Bagwell. Between us, we bring years of experience teaching English and Social Studies, and we've seen firsthand what separates students who just get through an assignment or a test from students who walk in confident and prepared. We started Bagwell Tutors to bring that same classroom expertise directly to families who want personalized, focused support.

Our Approach

We combine our backgrounds in English and Social Studies to help high schoolers strengthen their reading, writing, and reasoning skills that show up across curriculum — and on test day. Whether your student needs help outlining a research paper, analyzing a novel, prepping for an AP exam, or tackling the SAT or ACT, we're here to break it down and build it back up — one session at a time.
